Reforestation Project

We want to plant 2 million trees
Tebber for Hope PVT LTD wishes to undertake a reforestation project to address the issue of deforestation in sub-saharan African countries such as Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania, South Africa and
Botswana. Deforestation in these areas can mainly be attributed to the expansion of
arable land, demand for fuel wood & construction poles, urban expansion, mining, forest
fires, population pressure and the unsustainable harvesting of plants. The effects of the
cyclone in the aforementioned countries has also inspired the solution we have come up
with. As part of this reforestation project we intend to plant wild & native fruit trees, wild &
native vegetables, indigenous medicinal plants, indigenous trees that promote edible
insects, firewood energy trees and natural pesticide trees. For more information or to inquire about how you can get involved please reach out to us via our contact page.

How the project will work
We will select plants species that are native to the communities in particular tropical regions and work hand in hand with developers, local municipalities and rural village chiefs to bring back the forest. Planting will be carried out in neglected areas, public places, parks, urban houses, peri-urban communities and in rural areas. As part of this project we will plant 5 types of forests.
1
Communal Forests

2
Urban Forests

3
Vegetative Forest

4
Wood Energy Forest

5
Medicinal Forest

Educating Rural Communities
One of our main tasks will be to provide education in rural communities on how to nurture trees, sustain a balanced biodiversity, avoid overharvesting and the preservation of nature.
