Giant Granadilla

Giant granadilla (Passiflora quadrangularis) thrives in warm, sunny conditions with well-draining soil. It needs consistent watering, especially during fruit development, and strong support for its climbing vines. The fruit is a good source of nutrients, especially vitamins A and C, and is often used in traditional medicine.
Growing Conditions:
  • Climate: Giant granadilla thrives in tropical and subtropical climates with warm, humid conditions and temperatures between  (18–29°C).
  • Sunlight: It prefers full sun but can tolerate dappled shade.
  • Soil: Well-draining, humus-rich soil with a slightly acidic to neutral
  • Watering: Needs consistent moisture but avoid waterlogging. Water deeply and regularly, especially during dry periods, and more frequently for potted plants pH
  • Support: Provide strong support for the vines, as they can grow very long.
